Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 11 and another exciting year of scouting! The Pack Committee has put together a great Pack calendar of the boys’ favorite activities of the past and a couple brand new thrilling adventures for all to enjoy!
For our new Scout families, Pack 11 was chartered over 30 years ago and sponsored by Trinity Episcopal Church .
The whole Pack meets once monthly - normally on a Friday evening and Dens will meet typically once to twice a month. Pack Meetings are held in the Trinity Church hall, and we are blessed to have our own Scout Room in the Church basement where most Den Meetings are held.
As a Den, the scouts will gather to work on different adventures and activities from their Scout books. As a result of these adventures and with additional help at home, the Scouts can earn advancements and recognized for their accomplishments in front of their peers and families at a Pack Meeting or The Blue and Gold Banquet.
Uniforms: We only ask that boys wear the official blue cub scout uniform shirt, uniform pants are not necessary, blue jeans would be acceptable. Webelo's 2 have the option to wear the tan Boy Scout Shirt. Neckerchiefs are supplied by the pack when boys advance each rank.
This year, I know the Scouts will be looking forward to the Hiking and overnight adventures we are planning. Camp Strang is an awesome place - for both boys and parents - that will form a lasting memory for years between Scout & Parent. Welcome to Scouting!!
Around the corner is the annual Fall Bonfire Hayride at Schreiber Farm and
As always we will have the forever exciting Pinewood Derby, and the Raingutter Regatta.
Once again, we are having 2 fundraisers to support our exciting scouting year:more info coming soon.
We are looking forward to a wonderful year watching the boys grow in Scouting. If you have any questions, please email or call me or your Den Leaders. Anyone interested in volunteering please call or email one of us.
