Girls Troop 77, Scouts BSA

Chartered by the American Legion Post 209
Meeting at United States Air Force Academy Scout Huts
Part of the Jamboree District, Pikes Peak Council, BSA
Primarily serving the families of North Colorado Springs and Monument

Troop 77 is active year-round, and there is at least one major event for our Scouts in every month. Our Troop meetings are normally on Mondays at 6:30PM at the Scout Huts on the Air Force Academy along Community Center Drive.

Any girl from 11-17 years old can join Troop 77; no military affiliation is needed.  Those wishing to visit the Troop should contact the Scoutmaster or Committee Chair for instructions.  We meet in the interior part of the Base where a Department of Defense identification card, visitor pass, or escort is needed.

In addition to Troop events, Scouts participate in other activities within their Patrols.  Each Patrol is a team of about 8 Scouts varying in age such that the girls have many leadership development and advancement opportunities as they mature. Our engaging program is focused on outdoor adventure (camping, hiking, backpacking, etc.), as well as science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).  Troop 77 has great scouts and great leaders, which results in a lot of fun at every event!
